In just over 24 hours, DeepSeek has become the center of attention by showing that it is possible to develop competitive AI spending just a fraction of the billions invested by Silicon Valley giants.<\/p>\n
In my 25+ years of following the technology and innovation market, I\u2019ve learned that the biggest transformations often come from unexpected places. And DeepSeek\u2019s case is emblematic: for just $6 million \u2013 compared to the $80-100 billion spent by OpenAI on ChatGPT \u2013 they created a solution that is disrupting the global market.<\/p>\n
The numbers are impressive: Nvidia lost US$588 billion in market value in a single day, the Nasdaq fell more than 31%, while our Bovespa rose 21%. But beyond the numbers, what strikes me most are the implications for the global innovation ecosystem.<\/p>\n
